If you are seeking the ultimate beach paradise then slap on the sun cream, slip on the Havianas and follow those in the know to discover the best beaches in Brazil.

For most Brazilians, the beach is an extension of their casa. A place to relax after a hard day at work, somewhere to grab a bite to eat, a great environment to meet with friends and family and of course play sports like football and volleyball for example. But don’t think that the nearest strip of sand will do. Brazilians pick the beach they want to visit very seriously, only going to the very best praias even if they ahve to travel to get there.

Brazil has witnessed a marked growth in domestic tourism over the past few years, fuelled by sustained economic growth and increasing incomes. Each year millions of Brazilians take advantage of the natural treasures that Brazil has to offer with the north east region in particular an attractive destination for the wealthier megacity dwellers of Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, & Sao Paulo

Comprising some 9 states, the north east coastline is always top of the charts of the finest beaches in Brazil, if not the world, with secluded, white sandy beaches gliding into the warm waters of the Atlantic.

As Steven Worboys, MD of Brazil property consultants Experience International, enthuses,

“The state of Paraiba, features a number of beach paradises such as Tambaba, Coquerinho, Praia Bella and Tabatinga. Improvements to the roads and infrastructure have increased accessibility to these beaches from the nearby cities of Recife and Joao Pessoa yet despite the rise in popularity they have still kept their local charm and character.”

A hidden gem, Tambaba and its neighbouring beaches up until a few years ago were relatively undiscovered by international visitors. Situated just 20km south of the historical city of Joao Pessoa and international airport, they are widely reputed as four of the best beaches in Brazil with palm trees scattered along the coastline, 20m high coral reefs and soft white and golden sands. The best time to visit is between October and May when its around 30 degrees and the water is an inviting turquoise blue.

In response to increasing levels of domestic and international tourism and in turn demand for property, the development of a range of hotels, leisure facilities and second homes is currently underway. With capital appreciation rates in the region predicted at 25%, many savvy investors have identified the potential in Tambaba and are entering the market early through the purchase of land plots in the area.

One five star eco-friendly resort being developed that is seeing significant interest from not only from the domestic market (40% of plots have already been sold to Brazilian nationals) but also international buyers is the Tambaba Country Club Resort.

Covering some 150 hectares of prime tropical paradise with over 15 hectares of preserved tropical forest within, Tambaba Country Club Resort is based on the hugely successful European Centre Parcs concept with a wealth on-site amenities including aquatic water park, restaurants, sports facilities, nature trails, craft centres and even a cachaca production area!

Currently investors can secure 450m2 premium plots of Brazil land for sale for a small initial investment of only
