Schipperke is one breed which looks like an aggressive hunting hound but actually is a very nice and calm natured. This dog will definitely keep the house breakers away.
Bichon Frise: And last but not least a dog so adorable and playful that your children will not ask for any more toys. They are fluffy and mostly white in color. They are energetic canines and need a a good amount of of exercise, however, they are comfortable and safe indoors.
