Asking relatives or close personal friends for a loan may be hard for you to do, but it’s something you should do. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by asking and may be pleasantly surprised at their willingness to help you.

Of course, even willing friends and relatives may not have the financial resources to help you out with a personal loan. As an alternative, you could spread the loan amongst more than one person to make the amount more affordable to each individual.
